Marisa Segovia Gallery Opening

Marisa Nicholle Segovia (she/her/hers) is of Mexican, Cherokee, German and Portuguese descent.   Born and raised in California’s Central Valley - Modesto, California is her hometown. In 2019, she graduated with a double major in Studio Arts, with an emphasis in Printmaking and Art Education with a minor in Art History.

Community, inanimate objects, personal history, repetition and relationships with humans are a few of the subjects her work explores. Through her art, she elevates the unnoticed, bringing more attention to the beauty and history that these tangible moments hold and represent.
