Marisa Segovia FREE Workshop #2: Cyanotypes
June 11 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Okay, cool. But! What is a cyanotype?
The cyanotype process uses a mixture of iron compounds, which--when exposed to UV light (ie, sunlight) and washed in water--oxidize to create distinctive negative (white) images on a rich blue background. Using found objects and plant forms, Marisa will take you through the process of using those objects to create your own cyanotype.
