Linocut and Handcoloring

Come and join us at Pedal Press for a linocut carving workshop hosted by Jalisa Sousa-Silva! Linoleum blocks, carving tools, and all other art materials will be provided. We will be going over a demo, showing you how to both handprint and use a large standard press to create your prints. After printing, you will have an edition of three prints that you can experiment on using colored pencils, markers, etc. This method of hand-coloring shows an easy way to get colorful prints without using multiple blocks.
